The Mentor Monday Challenge

One truth. One action. One person. Every Monday.

Pick a truth on Monday morning. Do the action by Friday. Tell one person what shifted. That's it — that's the whole program.

  1. STEP 01

    Pick

Open this page Monday morning. Choose the truth that pokes you the hardest.

  2. STEP 02

    Do

Run the one-line challenge below it before the week ends. Small counts. Awkward counts.

  3. STEP 03

    Tell

Send the truth — and what happened — to one mentor, teammate, or kid who needs it.

This week's challenges

  • 01

    Every person carries buried gifts.

Challenge: Spot one buried gift in someone this week. Name it out loud to them.

  • 02

    The relationship is the work.

Challenge: Skip the agenda once. Ask how they're really doing — and stay for the answer.

  • 03

    Believe louder than they doubt.

Challenge: Tell one person exactly who you see them becoming. Be specific. Be early.

  • 04

Half of saving a life is refusing to leave.

Challenge: Show up for the person everyone else gave up on. Twice this week.

  • 05

Ask what happened — not what's wrong.

Challenge: Trade one judgment this week for one curious question.

  • 06

You don't have to feel like a hero.

Challenge: Show up on the day you don't feel up to it. That's the day it counts.

  • 07

Trust is earned one kept promise at a time.

Challenge: Make one small promise this week. Keep it like it's the only one.

  • 08

    Listening is the doorway in.

Challenge: Have one conversation where you don't speak first — and don't fix anything.

  • 09

    Repair is the work.

Challenge: Go back to the conversation you've been avoiding. Repair it this week.

  • 10

Not everything that counts can be counted.

Challenge: Do one thing this week that won't show up in any report.

  • 11

Someone chose to mentor me. I kept moving.

Challenge: Be the someone. Choose one person this week and tell them you're in their corner.

  • 12

    My why is you.

Challenge: Write down your why. Tape it where you'll see it Monday morning.
